As 2026 is the National Year of Reading, we want to celebrate the incredible impact that reading has on children’s learning and development. Regular reading not only improves comprehension and vocabulary but also nurtures imagination, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Please support your child by ensuring they read at home at least three times each week. Your encouragement makes a real difference to their progress.

The MTC is a rigorous, on-screen, timed assessment requiring rapid mental recall (6 seconds per question) and our Y4 children are beating national standards with 72% achieving full marks!

Today we gathered for our first whole school Mass of the new year. We thought about New Beginnings and how the Bible teaches us that when we face new beginnings, God will always be with us.
