Our EYFS Lead is Ms Rutkowski 
 

The education your child receives in the Early Years of life forms a foundation for all future learning to built upon. In EYFS we work together learning through a range of practical and fun activities which develop the whole child.

Our Curriculum is based around prime areas: Personal and Social development, Physical development and Communication and language. These prime areas form the basis for all education. We also have a specific focus on Literacy, Mathematics, understanding the world and expressive arts and design.

In EYFS we believe in being a supportive network for our families. We work in conjunction with parents to provide a supportive welcoming environment for our children. During the year pupils enjoy PE lessons delivered by a PE coach, messy art sessions with an artist, visits from the Police and Fire service, Planetarium experience in school, and a puppet theatre performance. By following children’s interests and ideas, we nurture a lifelong love of learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
